Exit 01:52
Yes, there is an exit I can see the light That's pouring out from underneath The doors that separate us From whatever's on the other side And we keep fighting on For so long And though I won't admit it I loved every moment In spite of all the hurt and heartache We went through for this It's over We're here now A fantasy that I have lived out A thousand times before I can't believe that all we've worked for Is right behind that door Homesick, broken From broken homes We're not worthless We'll find a place our own

It's Over 03:27
You know it's over When everyone knows your name You know it's over When everything sounds the same You know it's over And, "Wow, I'm so glad you came!" You know it's over It's over for you and me I'll never ever get over this Get over it Can't get over you (You hold me back) So will you get over me? (You're standing on my neck) I just can't seem to move this along Like a song Moves from bridge to refrain (If it's gotta go down) An endless verse takes place in my brain (Then it might as well be now) A life I've been living in shame (If it's gotta go down) I've been trying to manage the blame But I can't It's endless I'm ending this (Might as well be now) No, I won't back down They will hear these sounds Yes, I'll stand my ground To live my life like I'm alive right now The feeling that I had and every day since then has been crushing and terrible, but I try to block it out, and I try to do something else, and I try to experience life in a way that could be something that's tangible and that's recognizable as loving and kind, but it's not, and it's angry, and it's foul, and I try to bring it out, and I try to put it down but there's nothing large enough to fit this odd shape, this large shape, this louder shape than anybody's ever had to deal with before. So you're going to have to deal with it now

Home 05:09
As we look at who we are And the skin that shows our scars We won't make it very far In your father's second car As we look at who we were All the lines and shades they blur And I cannot deter A will as strong as her's I am not alone And I won't ever be Alone again No, I've got a friend in me I've got some enemies But I've got a friend in me I've got an enemy Hopeful heart Too possessive Too upset with past Scared and sullen Tempered angrily by staggering weight Cannot wait, Kind heart of Houston, Tomorrow's come easy When the world stops ending everyday Now I only fear your time past Who he was to you And why not now? I've no claim of gold or Midas touch My beauty is dependent upon the light of burning refuse It must be hard to bear to smell And taste in the air But if you really want it Here's your share Of what the world leaves behind Strike the pavement Catch the match And watch it all burn down We took the long way home We took the wrong way home

Who's This? 03:15
Write the songs Play them fast Then fuck them up It's a blast And by the time we're done, I'll hate you Throwing up Live on stage Then drink a beer It's time to rage And by the time we're done, I'll hate you Who's this Calling out? Who's this? Tell me now Drive your car To my house Unload your drums It's time to shout, "Holy fucking shit, I hate you!" Play guitars With my hands shakin' She turns and asks, "Is this seat taken?" "No, I believe there's space right here for you." Who's this? Calling out Who's this? Tell me now Who's this? I need to know Who's this? Are you friend or foe? Are you friend or foe? Now tell me I need to know right now Are we friend forever? Friends Friends 'til the end Until that friendship ends And then Fuck you Sunday morning They'll be calling for ya On Sunday morning They'll be calling for ya On Sunday morning Then we'll never ever see his face again They've been calling for ya Since Sunday morning Guess we'll never ever see his face again Friends 'til the end

So if her hate brought me love Then thank God above The one that doesn't exist No, He don't, but I wished That He did as a kid When He started the car Then He left through my chest An exit wound that won't scar So if her hate brought me love I won't return like the dove Ever so faithful to the ark Noah can live with that mark Cuz I've seen how the scorn Live endlessly torn Is there some way, shape, or form Where we all get reborn Without the Lord? So there's hurt and there's doubt Both inbox and out As we shout with our mouths Full of champagne and stout That we'd like this to end Shake hands and be friends But the past makes us tend To resent more than mend So if her hate just won't fade And our fates have been made I'd rather lie in this grave With someone who can stave Off this thought in my head That we're already dead And though it fills me with dread It just has to be said I need you now, Corinne I need you now

about

Featured on the 2022 Reddit Grammy's ("Exit" for Best Pop Punk)

"Every song on "The Age Of Rock N' Roll Death" blows by at a breakneck pace, with punchy drums, electrifying guitar work, and trembling vocal approaches that really bring out the emotion of the lyrics. Bringing together the best aspects of pop-punk and emo revival in beautiful harmony, Tochiro is an act that you should definitely keep your eyes on..."

These songs have languished in my head and amongst shoddy recordings for 6 or 7 years. After finally acquiring enough equipment, borrowing some instruments from a good friend, and hiring some exceptionally talented people, these songs have reached a point where I feel confident sharing them with you.
